This is the home page and blog of the Arabic classes at Lincoln High School, the first public high school in Oregon to offer Arabic to its students.

My name is Sarah Standish.  In addition to administering this blog, I teach Arabic at Lincoln High School, and I’m the author of the book Syria – Culture Smart! I also used to translate for Global Voices Online, and you can read an interview with me here in English and here in Arabic.
