Summer Scholarships from QFI

The Qatar Foundation International is offering summer scholarships for three US-based Arabic programs.  The well-respected programs are a great way for students to maintain or improve their Arabic in the summer, or even get started on Arabic for the first time–students do not need to have any previous knowledge of the language to apply!

Concordia Language Villages’ Al-Waha Arabic Village
Two-week and four-week residential immersion programs in Bemidji, MN. The two-week programs are open to students age 8-18. The two-week programs run from July 21- August 2 and from August 4-16. The four-week program is open to high school students and offers high school credit. The four-week program runs from July 21- August 16. QFI funding will provide 35 need-based student scholarships. Middlebury Monterey Language Academy
Four-week residential immersion program for high school students in Monterey, CA from June 22- July 17. QFI funding will provide 20 need-based student scholarships. For more information and the scholarship application, please visit:

California State University San Bernardino
Seven-week residential or day immersion program for high school students in San Bernardino, CA from June 18- August 7. This program awards college credit to students, and students have the opportunity to continue study throughout the year for college credit. QFI funding will provide 15 student scholarships.
