Apply for a full scholarship to study abroad in the Middle East

Students with a strong academic background and an interest in studying Arabic abroad should consider applying for an NSLI for Youth scholarship to study in the Arab world next summer or academic year.

These full scholarships cover all travel and study related expenses for the duration of the program, during which students participate in State Department-run Arabic classes and cultural activities.  The Arabic summer programs are held in Morocco, Jordan Egypt, or Oman (pending local political conditions, of course) and the year-long programs are held in Morocco and/or Egypt.

Last year, one Lincoln student won one of these scholarships and spent six weeks in Morocco, where she had a wonderful experience.
