Extra Credit Event: Second Annual Arab Festival

“Maharajan”–“festival” in Arabic–is the largest celebration of Arab heritage and culture in Oregon–and it’s taking place this weekend! Experience “delicious Arab cuisine, [an] Arab souq (bazaar), arts and crafts, henna painting, cooking demonstrations, music, dance, poetry, children’s activities and a raffle for prizes…the list goes on and on in terms of entertainment,” according to the official description.   You can earn extra credit for attending the event and writing about it in accordance with the extra credit guidelines.  Here are the facts:

When: Sunday, Sept. 25
11 a.m.-5 p.m.

A donation of $5 is requested in order to enter.
